St. Philip Ministry Leaders Announced!

This is an exciting new era at St. Philip. Now more than ever the success of our Parish will be determined by our parishioners. In early September all parishioners were asked to look into our lives and consider how we can use our talents to minister at St. Philip. Over the past several weeks the response to that request has been outstanding as multiple parishioners have come forward to offer their time and talent to our Parish.

As a result Father Ray is happy to announce that the formation of key leadership ministries and the individuals that will help guide or Parish into the future:

The Parish Council will represent the parish community, work in communion with each other and the pastor to afford a channel of communication and discussion of parish needs, priorities and plans. The Parish Council will also strive to provide leadership, direction, education, resources and encouragement in accordance with the continuing goals of the parish, diocese and the universal Church.

The Finance Committee will assist the Pastor and work with the Cluster Business Manager with all fiscal operations of the parish. The Committee will periodically review income and expense activity, review the status of all parish projects and oversee the finances of all parish construction and renovation.
