My father was born in New Mexico and I am researching my ancestry.  I have a certificate of Baptism from Sacred Heart Cathedral of my paternal grandmother born April 8, 1882 in Guadalupe (Salazar PO) N. Mex.  Her maiden name was Virginia Howard.  Her parents are listed as George Howard and Pabla Apodaca.  Next to their names "Indian" is written.  She was baptized on June 8, 1882.  Reb J. B. Brun. Sponsors were John Miller and M. Eulogia Mora.  This certificate must have been requested in 1944 because it states that the record appears from the Baptismal Register of the Chruch dated July 7, 1944, Vol. I (as in "i"ce), page 897, No 2, signed by Rev Jerome Hesse R.P.C.  I am attempting to determine which Indian tribe. I can fax the certificate to you, hoping that you will be able to assist me in my search.  Thank You...
