Religious Education has just begun. Registration forms can be found on the sidebar to the right of this page. Forms are also located in the chapel lobbies. Completed forms must be dropped off at the Catholic Office during normal duty hours. Please put completed forms in a sealed envelope and place them in the pocket of the office door.
RCIA has begun. Are you or anyone you know seeking to discover Catholicism? Do you need to finish receiving Sacraments? Or do you simply want to reconnect with your faith? The weekly topic will be announced in the bulletin for anyone interested in attending. Classes are held at the Chapel Center Annex from 1900-2100 hours. contact the chapel office or Ed Ibarra at 543-9330.
The Annual Parish Picnic will be held Sunday,
21 September at Post`l Point beginning with Mass at 1100 hours with picnic to follow. Bring a chair and a dessert to share! The picnic is free but you must sign up to attend. Sign-ups will be held following Masses on 14 September. NOTE: 0800 Mass will be held. Mass at West Gate Chapel WILL NOT be held. (Rainout plan will be that we move to West Gate Chapel)
Chapel Center Access: The intersection at 8th Street and Eglin Blvd will be closed due to a collapsed storm drain. Access to Dorms, chapel, and fitness center will still be possible from 8th Street by using D Avenue and Ocala Road. The intersection is expected to be closed for several months (anticipated opening is November 2014) until contract repairs can be made.
WEST GATE ROAD CONSTRUCTION: Road construction will begin 3 March to create a new traffic light and controlled intersection of May Road & Eglin Blvd., next to the West Gate Chapel. Motorists will be subject to one lane in bound or out bound traffic at times between the West gate and the West Gate Shoppette during construction. Road work will also take place at the intersection of Eglin Blvd. & Hatchee Road and the intersection of May Road & Gaffney Rd.
Ministry Volunteers are needed! Please contact the Catholic Chapel Office at 882-2111 or talk to an Usher after Mass to volunteer. We are in need of Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Choir members, Hospital Angels, and Adoration shift volunteers.
