ST. JOSEPH TABLE-March 18, 2012

Thanks to Patti and Vito, plus all the volunteers, donors and attendees who made this year's St. Joseph Table a wonderful celebration for all.




Holy Thursday Journey of Faith-April 5, 2012 Forty-six parish members and friends journeyed to the Lemont area to visit and pray at four Lemont Catholic Churches.
 St. James (Cal Sag Bridge) St. James Cemetery Founded in 1833 for Irish workers on the Illinois and Michigan Canal. The St. James Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
 St. James-altar
 St. Patrick Founded in 1839 to server Irish workers on the Illinois & Michigan Canal. It was the only parish in Lemont for years. Its treasure is the Pieta shrine.
 St. Alphonsus Founded as a mission of St. Michael's the German Redemptorist church in Chicago, in 1867. It became a German parish in 1874.

SS. Cyril and Methodius Founded in 1884 as a Polish parish.
Its treasure is the icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa which was enshrined in 1999.
