The Catholic Church recognizes that the family has primary responsibility for the religious education of their children. It is within family life that children learn about God, love for others, share prayer, learn about sacrifices and service, and celebrate sacraments together. To this end a Parish Grade and Middle School and a dedicated Faith Formation Staff at St. Pius X works in partnership with families to strengthen and provide well-rounded Catholic faith formation for our young people. The teachings and activities in education classes extend and support what has been experienced within the family.
Additional support is provided by Shared Ministries/Volunteers from the parish. Tuition is requested for many programs although Catechist Teaching Credit can be earned for volunteer teachers from the parish with children in the programs.
Contact the Faith Formation or Parish School offices for more information.
