Caring and Sharing began as an out reach of our “Thanksgiving Day Meal” for the lonely, needy and elderly.  With canned food left over, it was decided to start a food pantry for the needy.  The pantry is open 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 9:30am until 11:30am.  We have three volunteers.  In the past three months we have served 555 people with food, clothes, or both.  We are always in need of flip-top foods such as:  beanie weenies, Vienna sausages, potted meat, sardines, soap, deodorant, tooth paste, socks, underwear and men’s work clothes and shoes.
