St. John School will sponsor its annual Open House on Sun., Jan. 31st from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Our complete staff will be present along with students offering tours and classroom demonstrations. Open registration for new students will begin in March.
St. John’s School will host the St. John’s Alumni Chili Cook Off on Saturday February 6th, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. For $5.00 you can eat and vote for your favorite team. Children under 12 years old $1.00 with a choice of Chili or Hot dog and chips; for more information call Pat Pigg at 455-6038.
Diocesan Wedding Jubilarian Mass 2010 will be held in Pensacola on February 14th at 1:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Married couples celebrating 25, 50, 50+ years of marriage any time during 2010 are specially invited. Registration forms are available at the main entrance of the church.

In this study, you will discover the ‘big picture’ of the biblical story as it is presented in specific books of the Bible. This study will be offered at St. John’s meeting house on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning February 18th, 2010 during the season of Lent. This study is from the popular “Great Adventure Bible Series.” If you are interested in the Bible study during the day please let us know by calling Margaret at 455-0356. Registration for the evening session will be available next Sunday, January 31st.
Mission in Motion is coming to St. John’s on Wed., Feb. 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Oral Mucosal Screening. You must be at least 18 years of age. Oral mucosal screening is used to identify anything unusual, atypical or uncharacteristic in your mouth. This screening is painless, utilizing a light source to examine the interior aspects of the mouth. This screening is especially important for individuals who use or have used any tobacco products including smokeless tobacco.
Regional Enrichment Day for all involved in the Ministry of Catechetics with children, youth and adults, Saturday, February 6th from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Pastoral Center.
